Arthur Hayes has turned heads once again with a bold prediction that Ethereum could surge to $20,000 in this cycle. He revealed that he recently bought back ETH during the last market dip, stressing that growing capital inflows and supportive macro conditions could fuel the move. Hayes made it clear he’s “overweight ETH,” noting its strong position compared to other layer-1s.
Backing this sentiment, Tom Lee’s investment firm BitMine has increased its exposure, now holding over $6.6 billion worth of Ethereum after its latest purchase. This places the company among the largest corporate holders of ETH and underscores the steady rise of institutional interest.
Other voices in the space are echoing the same outlook. Eric Peters described Ethereum as the backbone of future financial infrastructure, saying:
The whole financial system is going to move to ETH as a foundational layer.”
Despite a slight pullback from recent highs, Ethereum remains near $4,300 at press time. With institutions stacking and influential figures pointing to higher targets, momentum for ETH appears to be building for the months ahead.
