The 21Shares SUI ETF (TSUI) and 21Shares Polkadot ETF (TDOT) have appeared on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) website, sparking fresh speculation about their chances of receiving U.S. regulatory approval.

Although a DTCC listing does not equal approval, it typically reflects early steps in preparing a product for launch. The final word still rests with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which is set to make its decision on the Polkadot ETF in November and the SUI ETF in December.
Bloomberg analysts currently estimate approval odds at roughly 90% for Polkadot and 60% for SUI. These numbers suggest that at least one of the two funds could receive the green light, potentially paving the way for a broader wave of altcoin-based exchange-traded funds.
Adding to the momentum, Bloomberg’s senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas remarked,
“Crypto ETF approval season has officially arrived.”
His comments highlight the growing belief that the SEC is warming up to more digital asset products after years of hesitation.
If either the SUI ETF or Polkadot ETF secures approval, it would mark a significant step in bridging crypto with traditional markets. Such a move could not only strengthen institutional access but also bring new visibility and legitimacy to both SUI and Polkadot within the broader investment landscape.
