After one of the sharpest sell-offs in months, the crypto market is roaring back. Bitcoin has surged above $115,000, while top altcoins like ETH, BNB, XRP, and DOGE are posting double-digit gains.
Macro investor Raoul Pal called last week’s market chaos a “flash crash,” explaining that such events often lead to rapid V-shaped recoveries. He noted that excessive leverage has now been flushed out, a reset that typically clears the way for higher prices.
“In this case, we entirely wiped out all accumulated leverage too,”
Pal said, suggesting the next leg is likely upward.
Investor confidence is also improving as fears of steep U.S. tariffs on China fade, dropping to a 17% probability according to market data. The easing tension is lifting global sentiment and fueling a rebound across risk assets.
Adding to the optimism, data shows rising Bitcoin premiums on major exchanges, a signal of increased institutional demand. Even Michael Saylor hinted at buying the dip, echoing his usual message: “Don’t stop believing.”
Ethereum is leading the altcoin recovery with gains over 10%, while BNB jumped 15% in 24 hours, reclaiming the $1,300 mark. The overall sentiment: the downturn may have been just a reset, not a reversal.
