Robert Kiyosaki Urges Investors to Look at Bitcoin and Ethereum as Protection in Turbulent Times
Robert Kiyosaki is once again pointing toward Bitcoin and Ethereum, warning that the global economy may be heading into a rough period. The well-known “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author believes these two digital assets could help individuals preserve, and even grow, their wealth if the world slips deeper into crisis.
Kiyosaki Says BTC and ETH Could Be a Lifeline
In a recent post on X, Kiyosaki encouraged his followers to stack Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, and silver. His message was blunt: in his view, these assets offer one of the few ways to stay ahead financially if the global economic environment deteriorates. According to him, the world is “getting poorer,” and those who prepare early could come out ahead.
Kiyosaki also mentioned that the long-standing Japan carry trade is effectively over, hinting that inflated markets may soon unravel. For him, this is another signal that investors should be seeking safety in alternative stores of value, especially Bitcoin and Ethereum, which he believes can act as a buffer against instability.
Still Bullish, Even After Selling Some BTC
His comments arrive shortly after revealing that he sold roughly $2.25 million worth of Bitcoin to fund new business ventures. Despite the sale, he made it clear he hasn’t changed his stance on the asset. He noted that he intends to buy back more BTC using income generated from those ventures.
“Biggest Crash in History” Has Begun, He Warns
In another post, Kiyosaki claimed that the “biggest crash in history” has already started. He stressed that this downturn won’t be limited to just one region, he expects the impact to be global. He also cautioned that advances in AI could accelerate job losses and lead to sharp declines in both commercial and residential real estate.
His advice remained consistent: accumulate Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, and silver as a defensive strategy. While he acknowledges that millions could lose everything in such a scenario, he believes those who prepare early could become significantly wealthier.
Market Conditions Add Weight to His Comments
Kiyosaki’s warnings come at a time when the crypto market is already under pressure. Bitcoin briefly plunged to around $81,000 last week, while Ethereum slipped under the $3,000 mark, both moving in tandem with a wider market pullback.
Interestingly, while BTC struggles, traditional safe-haven assets like gold and silver are still climbing, and equities continue to show strength. This divergence has sparked debate over whether Bitcoin and the broader crypto market may be entering a deeper bearish phase.
