Tom Lee’s BitMine has continued to ramp up its exposure to Ethereum, recently adding a major staking position that brings its total staked ETH close to $1.3 billion. On-chain data shows the firm staked nearly 119,000 ETH in its latest move, reinforcing growing institutional confidence in the network.
Following this addition, BitMine’s total staked balance now exceeds 460,000 ETH. The firm has also increased its spot holdings, purchasing roughly $130 million worth of Ethereum this week, signaling a long-term, yield-focused strategy rather than short-term trading.
At the same time, Ethereum is leading all blockchains in net capital inflows in 2025. Data from Artemis places Ethereum firmly ahead of competitors like Solana and BNB Chain, highlighting its dominant liquidity and institutional appeal.

This momentum is supported by rising staking participation, mature infrastructure, and increased access through institutional products, including newly launched Ethereum investment vehicles. Despite growing competition from newer chains, capital continues to concentrate around Ethereum, reinforcing its position as the primary settlement and yield layer in crypto.
