Bitcoin Rally Likely Delayed Until Late 2026

Scaramucci says Bitcoin still follows its classic four-year cycle despite market fears

Bitcoin Could Stay Quiet Longer Than Expected, Says Scaramucci

Anthony Scaramucci believes Bitcoin is still following its usual long-term rhythm, despite recent doubts from parts of the market. While some well-known voices have suggested the cycle may be changing, he doesn’t see it that way.

After Bitcoin slipped back below $68K amid rising geopolitical tensions, Scaramucci described the move as nothing unusual, just another correction within a bigger pattern. According to him, these pullbacks are typical and don’t signal anything fundamentally broken.

“We’re in a four-year cycle, and there were some traditional whales, some OG’s, that believe in the four-year cycle, and guess what happens in life when you believe in something? You create a self-fulfilling prophecy.”

He pointed out that early holders, miners, and large investors locking in profits near previous highs played a role in the recent choppiness. In his view, this behavior actually reinforces the cycle rather than invalidating it.

When Could Bitcoin Actually Take Off?

For now, Scaramucci expects Bitcoin to move sideways for a while. He suggests patience is needed, with a more meaningful uptrend likely not kicking in until late 2026.

His outlook is tied to the typical post-halving timeline, where markets often take time to rebuild momentum before pushing higher again. He also noted that current sentiment feels close to a bottom, with fear still dominating the space.

Beyond market cycles, he sees several factors that could support Bitcoin over time, growing adoption, clearer regulation, and more involvement from traditional financial institutions.

Long term, he remains extremely optimistic, even floating the idea that Bitcoin could eventually reach $1 million, arguing it still looks undervalued compared to assets like gold.

Macro Tensions Weigh on Bitcoin

In the short term, however, Bitcoin is being pulled around by global events. Escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran have added uncertainty across markets, pushing risk assets, including crypto, under pressure.

There’s also a strong link right now between Bitcoin and traditional markets, especially as investors keep a close eye on interest rates and broader economic signals.

Trading activity has picked up as a result, suggesting that despite the uncertainty, traders are staying engaged and watching closely for the next move.
