Bringing Bitcoin Into Everyday Transactions
GoMining has introduced the first version of its GoBTC Pay SDK and API, giving merchants and wallet providers new tools to accept Bitcoin payments for goods and services.
The rollout is designed to help businesses build payment solutions directly on top of the GoBTC Pay network, making Bitcoin easier to use beyond trading and long-term holding.
“We’re giving merchants and wallet providers the infrastructure to bring that vision into real-world commerce.”
A Gradual Rollout
Rather than launching at full scale, GoMining plans to begin with a select group of 10 merchants and ecosystem partners. These early participants will test and integrate the technology before wider expansion.
The company says the goal is to create a smoother payment experience while keeping transactions settled directly on the Bitcoin network.
Built Around Bitcoin Ownership
One of the key features of GoBTC Pay is that users maintain control of their Bitcoin throughout the payment process. The system does not require customers to hand over custody of their funds or convert BTC into traditional currencies before making purchases.
Merchants will have access to payment management tools, onboarding features, integration options, and an open API for connecting wallets and services.
Pushing Bitcoin Utility Forward
Powered by GoMining’s infrastructure, GoBTC Pay aims to make spending Bitcoin more practical for everyday use. The company believes wider adoption could help shift Bitcoin’s role from being viewed solely as an investment asset to becoming a payment option for real-world commerce.
