Bitcoin Regains Momentum
Bitcoin pushed back above the $63,000 mark after recovering from selling pressure triggered by Strategy’s recent Bitcoin sale. The rebound gained additional momentum after U.S. President Donald Trump voiced fresh support for the crypto industry, helping improve market sentiment.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency briefly traded near $64,000, with traders now watching whether buyers can sustain the rally and challenge the next major resistance levels.
Trump Calls Himself a “Big Crypto Guy”
Speaking to reporters, Trump made one of his strongest pro-crypto comments to date, saying:
“I’ve become a big crypto guy.”
He added that while he wasn’t always supportive of digital assets, his view changed as the industry continued to grow. Trump also suggested that the U.S. should remain competitive in the sector rather than allowing other countries to take the lead.
Could Bitcoin Be Added to Trump Accounts?
When asked whether Bitcoin could eventually become part of the proposed “Trump Accounts” savings program, the president didn’t rule out the idea. Although he stopped short of confirming any plans, his response fueled speculation that crypto could play a larger role in future financial initiatives.
The remarks were enough to boost optimism across the market, with investors interpreting them as another sign that the administration remains supportive of digital assets.
What’s Next for Bitcoin?
With Bitcoin reclaiming the $63,000 level, traders are now watching whether the cryptocurrency can break above the $65,000 resistance zone. A successful move higher could strengthen bullish momentum, while failure to hold current levels may invite another round of profit-taking.
