Morgan Stanley’s Ethereum and Solana ETFs Take Major Step Toward Launch
Morgan Stanley is moving closer to launching exchange-traded funds tied to Ethereum and Solana.
The firm has received approval for its spot Ethereum and Solana ETFs to list and trade on the NYSE Arca exchange, marking another major step toward bringing the two leading crypto assets further into traditional financial markets.
The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust ETF is expected to trade under the ticker MSSE, while the Morgan Stanley Solana Trust ETF will use the ticker MSOL.
Staking Could Be Included
Both ETFs are also expected to include staking strategies. This would allow the funds to potentially generate additional returns from staking the underlying ETH and SOL held by the products.
The development comes as demand for crypto-based investment products continues to grow, with major financial institutions expanding their exposure to digital assets.
Morgan Stanley’s move further highlights the growing acceptance of Ethereum and Solana among traditional financial institutions and could give investors another way to gain exposure to both assets through regulated markets.
With the necessary regulatory steps moving forward, investors could soon have new institutional investment products offering exposure to Ethereum and Solana.
