Binance has rolled out a new QR payment system in Argentina, allowing users to make instant, fee-free purchases using crypto through Binance Pay. With a quick scan of a merchant’s QR code, payments are processed in seconds, no extra costs involved.
Merchants don’t need any crypto knowledge to use it. Binance handles the conversion automatically, turning the received crypto into Argentine pesos through regulated local partners. That means stores still get paid in fiat without touching digital wallets or dealing with volatility.

The feature supports over 100 crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether (USDT). Each transaction is capped at roughly 1,500 USDT, with a monthly limit of 5,000 USDT, enough for everyday spending like coffee, clothes, or dinner.
Argentina was a natural starting point. With its widespread QR infrastructure and ongoing inflation challenges, crypto payments offer a practical alternative for locals looking for stability.
By introducing this service, Binance continues to bridge digital assets with real-world use, turning crypto from a speculative tool into something people can actually use in daily life.
