Grant Cardone hints at “DGTS” token
Grant Cardone, founder of Cardone Capital, stirred conversation online after revealing he’s considering launching a new Memecoin. The real estate firm, which manages billions in assets, appears to be exploring the crypto space in a more experimental way.
In a post on X, Cardone wrote:
“I’m thinking about dropping a meme coin to prove you can be profitable without a Stanford University degree.”
The proposed token would trade under the ticker DGTS, and the idea quickly caught the attention of crypto traders and meme coin enthusiasts.
Looking for developers and collaborators
Cardone openly admitted he’s new to the technical side of crypto and asked for help from the community. He mentioned needing support with graphics, coding, exchange listings, and marketing. To attract contributors, he suggested allocating 20% of the total supply to developers working on the project.
He also shared a mock “presale” image referencing the name “Don’t Go To Stanford,” hinting that more details could arrive soon.

Timing aligns with favorable sentiment for meme coins
The announcement comes as meme coins continue to gain traction, with growing discussions around their role as entertainment-driven digital assets rather than traditional investments. This evolving sentiment has encouraged more public figures and brands to experiment with launching their own tokens.
Cardone Capital expanding into crypto
The potential Memecoin is just one piece of Cardone Capital’s broader push into digital assets. Earlier this year, the firm reportedly invested $10 million in Bitcoin, combining real estate income with crypto exposure.
The company has also explored tokenizing real estate holdings worth billions, aiming to improve liquidity and offer blockchain-based access to property-backed investments.
If Cardone moves forward, the DGTS token would mark the firm’s most unconventional step yet, blending real estate branding with meme coin culture.
