Eric Trump is calling the latest Bitcoin pullback an opportunity, saying it’s
“A great time to buy Bitcoin”
and even describing it as
“The greatest of our time.”
Speaking at a tech event in Florida, he pointed to Bitcoin’s long-term growth, noting it traded near $16,000 three years ago and around $36,500 two years ago. Even after sliding below $100,000, he argued the bigger trend still leans upward, supported by ETF inflows and growing institutional interest.
American Bitcoin, fresh off its NASDAQ debut, reported a $3.5 million profit in Q3. Trump highlighted the company’s low-cost mining operations in West Texas, where one facility now produces more than 2% of the global Bitcoin supply. The company measures performance through Bitcoin holdings per share rather than short-term price action, helping guide production and expansion.
Trump also recalled how hundreds of accounts tied to his family’s businesses were shut down by major U.S. banks “for doing nothing,” linking the closures to political motives around “Make America Great Again.” That experience, he said, pushed his family toward crypto.
He addressed recent calls from Democratic lawmakers for a federal investigation into WLFI, following concerns about token sales to questionable parties. He connected this to the founding of World Liberty Financial, which offers a U.S.-anchored stablecoin he called the fastest-growing platform on Earth. Stablecoins, he added, move money faster than traditional banking, avoid cut-off times, and reduce friction in global transfers.
