Kraken has introduced Kraken Perpetuals, a new trading feature designed to give retail investors easier access to advanced crypto strategies. Unlike traditional futures, these contracts don’t expire, allowing traders to hold long or short positions indefinitely and adjust exposure as the market shifts.

The product is fully integrated into Kraken’s main app, making it more approachable than the exchange’s Pro platform. At launch, Perpetuals support USD collateral and offer tools like customizable stop-loss orders for risk management.
Kraken noted that while the feature makes derivatives more accessible, perpetuals remain high-risk instruments suited for informed traders.

The launch comes as Kraken continues broadening its range of products, including its tokenized equities service, xStocks, which gives users access to more than 60 U.S. equities and ETFs. Together, these offerings reflect Kraken’s strategy to bridge traditional finance with the blockchain economy and deliver more choices to its global user base.
