Pi Network Rolls Out New AI Tools to Accelerate KYC Approvals and Push More Users Toward Mainnet
The team has folded its Fast Track KYC technology into the platform’s wider verification system. This new setup is designed to cut wait times dramatically by reducing how many applications require a human review. According to the project’s latest update, the improved AI pipeline is expected to shrink manual workload by roughly half, allowing more Pioneers to complete KYC and move closer to Mainnet eligibility.

Fast Track KYC originally launched in September as a simplified version of the verification flow. It removed earlier requirements, such as completing 30 mining sessions before being allowed to apply. While Fast Track alone didn’t allow immediate migration, combining it with the Standard KYC system now offers a more unified and direct route for users who want to finalize their identity checks.
For many who were stuck waiting, this integration could clear long-standing bottlenecks. It’s especially beneficial when the number of available human validators is low. By leaning more heavily on automation, Pi Network can reserve manual checks for cases that truly require additional attention.
Updated Figures on KYC Progress and Mainnet Migration
The project reports that 17.5 million Pioneers have successfully passed KYC so far, with 15.7 million already migrated to the Mainnet. About 3 million users still need to finish pending verification steps before they can join them.
As highlighted in the latest communication from the team:
“These millions of KYC’d Pioneers on the Pi Mainnet, with many more to join, are an important achievement of the collective efforts of the Pi community and a great resource of the network that not only help maintain the security and integrity of our network but serve as the foundation to nurture more real utilities in Web3 and AI industries that will shape our future.”
The Network also addressed the long-awaited validator rewards. The first distribution is now targeted for the end of Q1 2026. The delay stems from a full review of data accumulated since 2021, which must be completed before the rewards roll out.
December Unlock: 190 Million Pi Set for Release
Another major update arrives in December, when Pi Network plans to release 190 million Pi tokens, valued at more than $40 million at current prices. The unlock comes during a period where Pi’s market value has slipped roughly 6.6% over the past week, hovering around $0.224.
In addition to the technical upgrades, Pi Network has been formally recognized within the European Union’s MiCA regulatory framework, a move that sets the stage for operating in regulated markets across the EU.
The project is also branching into the gaming world. A new partnership with CiDi Games aims to bring Pi-powered transactions and features into Web3 titles, potentially expanding the token’s presence in interactive entertainment and giving Pioneers more ways to use Pi within digital ecosystems.
