Hong Kong has officially approved Asia’s first-ever Solana ETF, marking another major step in crypto’s institutional adoption. The fund is set to launch on October 27, offering investors direct exposure to Solana’s market performance without having to hold the asset itself.
A well-known crypto analyst believes SOL is still in its “sweet zone,” expecting prices to climb between $300 and $400, with entry levels below $200 seen as highly favorable for traders.
The ETF will start trading with 100 units per lot, a 0.99% management fee, and total annual expenses estimated at 1.99%. It joins ChinaAMC’s existing Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, expanding Hong Kong’s growing lineup of regulated crypto investment products.

Meanwhile, Solana-related investment products continue to attract strong inflows, adding $706 million in a single week and pushing total assets under management to $5.1 billion, a new all-time high.
This move also follows Bitwise’s progress on a U.S. Solana ETF (BSOL), with the firm recently cutting management fees to 0.20% and introducing staking features.
