Swiss Bank BancaStato Expands Into Bitcoin and Solana Trading

The bank has partnered with Sygnum and Avaloq to launch trading for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Solana (SOL). Customers can buy, sell and hold the assets through BancaStato’s web and mobile banking applications without having to open an account with a separate trading platform.
Sygnum provides the digital asset infrastructure and custody services, while Avaloq integrates the functionality into BancaStato’s existing banking system.
Trading Directly Through the Bank
The integration gives customers access to digital asset trading within the same environment they already use for their traditional banking needs.
The move also highlights how established financial institutions are increasingly looking to offer digital asset services as part of their core banking products.
“We are proud to welcome BancaStato to our fast-growing B2B network, which illustrates the growing demand for Sygnum’s regulated, API-driven digital asset services that integrate directly into existing core banking systems.”
BancaStato’s latest move shows that digital asset trading is becoming increasingly integrated into traditional banking infrastructure, with more banks looking to offer customers direct access to the market.
