A wave of speculation recently claimed that Donald Trump’s media platform, Truth Social, was prepping to roll out its own memecoin. That buzz, however, just got shut down.
World Liberty Financial — the DeFi initiative tied to Trump’s circle — issued a clear statement dismissing the rumors. There’s no Truth Social memecoin in the works, no secret launch, and definitely no official NFT marketplace rollout happening anytime soon.
“There’s no truth whatsoever about Truth Social launching a memecoin. Don’t be fooled by false information people are circulating“,
said Donald Trump Jr., who’s involved in WLFi’s operations.
The team emphasized they remain the only verified crypto project affiliated with Trump, and urged the community to be cautious. They warned of scammy tokens pretending to be linked to the former president or his platforms, designed to exploit hype and misinformation.
“Don’t be fooled. There is no new Trump crypto project,”
the team wrote on X, directly addressing the rumors.
While the fake coins make headlines, the official TRUMP memecoin has been quietly bouncing back. After a brutal 85% drop earlier this year, it’s gained serious ground — up nearly 50% this month and with trading volume doubling in the past 24 hours. Despite today’s dip of around 10%, sentiment remains bullish.

Meanwhile, Trump’s footprint in crypto continues to grow. His USD1 stablecoin project — launched in early May — made a strong entrance into the market, attracting serious attention.
