Key Points
- Grayscale has filed a fresh S-1 in an effort to list a new SUI ETF.
- The move follows closely after 21Shares rolled out the first SUI-focused ETF in the U.S.
- The proposed product intends to mirror SUI’s market performance, minus management fees.
Grayscale Enters the SUI ETF Arena
Grayscale’s latest filing aims to introduce a regulated vehicle that gives investors direct exposure to SUI without requiring them to hold or manage the token themselves. The structure resembles the firm’s other single-asset trusts, offering a simpler route for institutions and retail investors looking to access SUI through traditional brokerage accounts.
According to the filing, the trust is designed so its shares track the price of SUI as closely as possible. Fees and operational expenses are the only deductions.

This push from Grayscale arrives right after 21Shares listed the first leveraged SUI ETF on Nasdaq. Trading under ticker TXXS, that fund offers 2x daily SUI exposure using derivatives. It’s built for short-term speculative strategies rather than long-term holding and saw more than 4,700 shares change hands on its opening day.
Earlier this year, additional asset managers began pursuing similar products, signaling growing appetite for SUI-based ETFs as interest in the network expands.
A Broader ETF Strategy From Grayscale
The SUI filing is part of a broader wave of new products from Grayscale. In recent weeks, the company launched the first U.S. Chainlink ETF on NYSE Arca, continuing its focus on building regulated pathways into major crypto ecosystems.
Grayscale has also expanded with other single-asset ETFs, including a DOGE-based product now trading on the NYSE. Additionally, the firm submitted an S-3 to convert its long-running Zcash Trust into a spot ZEC ETF, another move that fits into its goal of offering a wide lineup of crypto-linked investment vehicles.
Together, these developments highlight how asset managers are positioning themselves for rising demand in tokenized markets, with SUI emerging as one of the newest networks attracting ETF interest.
