Key Points:
- Saylor dropped his signature hint on X, sparking talk of another purchase.
- Strategy currently sits at over 597K BTC, just a small step away from 600K.
- Bitcoin treasury accumulation is in full swing, with 8,400 BTC added across firms last week.
Another Bitcoin Buy Incoming?
Michael Saylor, who’s been relentless in stacking Bitcoin through his firm Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), is once again stirring the pot. A recent post on X featuring Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings dashboard has fueled speculation that another purchase is right around the corner.
The tracker shows the firm holding 597,325 BTC, currently valued at over $64 billion. Just last week, Strategy added 4,980 BTC to its reserves, marking the 12th straight week of acquisitions.
If Saylor pulls the trigger again this week, not only would it break the streak record, but it would also push total holdings past the 600K mark. The firm is roughly 2,675 BTC short of hitting that historic number.
But Will They Buy Again?
Despite the tracker tease, some are skeptical. In his post, Saylor simply wrote:
“Some weeks you just need to HODL.”
That caption has sparked debate, was it a playful distraction, or a signal that they’re pausing for now?
Either way, the market is watching closely. Historically, a Strategy buy has often been followed by a strong move upward in Bitcoin’s price.
Everyone’s Stacking Sats
Beyond Saylor, Bitcoin continues to be a magnet for companies looking to shore up their treasuries. A total of 18 firms added thousands of BTC to their books last week, including Strategy and another heavy-hitter, Figma.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin itself is inching toward its all-time high again. At $108,900, it’s just a hair, around 3%, off its previous peak.

However, there’s a bit of legal turbulence. Strategy and Saylor are now facing a lawsuit over Bitcoin-related accounting issues, specifically around not disclosing unrealized losses in Q1 2025. Whether that impacts future buys remains to be seen.
