SUI is back in focus after veteran trader Peter Brandt pointed to what he believes is a major bottom on the weekly chart, signaling the possibility of a much larger move higher from current levels.
The token has bounced hard from the sub-$1 area, climbing over 20% in the past 24 hours while extending its weekly gains to nearly 50%. Trading activity also exploded, with volume surging close to 300% as momentum returned across the market.

Brandt shared that the recent structure suggests SUI could continue trending significantly higher in the weeks ahead. The move comes after months of heavy selling pressure following its previous highs near $5.
Privacy Features Could Become a Major Catalyst
Beyond the technical breakout, fresh developments around the Sui ecosystem are adding fuel to the rally.
Adeniyi Abiodun recently revealed that confidential transactions are expected to launch on Sui later this year, aiming to bring free and private payments at scale.
The upcoming feature is expected to support stablecoin transfers with privacy-focused technology while still remaining compliant with regulations. Over time, the system could expand into tokenized assets such as stocks, bonds, and RWAs.

That announcement sparked fresh optimism around the network’s long-term utility and adoption potential.
Institutional Interest in SUI Keeps Growing
Another bullish signal came from Sui Group Holdings, which disclosed it had staked 108.7 million SUI tokens, roughly 2.7% of the circulating supply.
At the same time, interest around Sui’s growing ecosystem continues to build, with upcoming plans tied to prediction markets and leveraged trading products drawing attention from the broader crypto community.
With strong price momentum, rising volume, and new ecosystem developments arriving quickly, SUI is becoming one of the most watched altcoins in the market again.
